Listening is a skill. It's also an art. Listening invites us to be present to the person or people who are speaking. As a result, listening necessitates an investment in a relationship with people.

Tim and Sara explore two big ideas in this podcast: 1) What does Scripture have to say about listening? 2) Why don't we listen?

We offer four passages of Scripture from the Old and New Testaments that remind us that God shows us the importance of listening.

Then, we turn to five reasons we don't listen. Tim also wrote an article where he touches on the five aspects of good listeners. Read "Is Anybody Listening?"
