When the calendar turns to a new year, there's a whole lot of anticipation for the year ahead. It's a blank slate. For some, it's a welcome beginning to something new.
Here's what we want to know: What new thing is God doing in your midst?
Consider Revelation 21:5
"He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
The vision of Revelation 21 is something new. John is contrasting the new he sees with the old he has experienced.
So as we stand on the edge of a new year, a new decade, and dive into a new 100 podcasts, we invite you to celebrate something new. The courage comes not only with new beginnings but with letting go of the old.
The latter “what is new and distinctive” as compared with other things.
